Join us for a 5-day, 4-night immersive indigo retreat on the picturesque Edisto Island, SC. Our home for the retreat is a stunning 6-bedroom house, beautifully styled and just a stone's throw from the beach.
Indigo Immersion
Over the course of four days, you'll delve into the world of indigo dyeing, learning various techniques from shibori to pounding, batik to painting. You'll work with freshly harvested indigo to create a range of unique pieces, from napkins and kitchen towels to a stunning silk scarf.
Exploring the Source
We'll take a special trip to the property where our indigo is grown, as well as the historic Magnolia Plantation in Charleston. This will give you a deeper understanding of the indigo plant and its rich history.
Retreat Details
Accommodations: 6-bedroom house with spacious rooms
Meals: Continental breakfasts, wholesome lunches (all but one), and dinners
Activities: Indigo dyeing classes, property tour, and Magnolia Plantation visit
Take-home goodies: Hands-on knowledge, personally dyed and embellished items, and a published booklet written by our expert instructor
